Why Apple?

1. Apple supports open source software
2. Mac OS X is a UNIX-like OS
3. Apple supports technical standards
4. There are 0 viruses in the wild for OS X
5. There are 0 spyware programs for OS X
   
6. Apple's design and architecture is historically and currently phenomenal
7. Apple is reliable
8. Apple's history is something to be proud of
9. Some of the leading intellectuals are Mac users
   

Why not Microsoft?

1. 97,467 viruses
2. ~36,000 spyware programs
   
3. Infamous lag time providing security updates
4. Overpriced
5. Not much improvement between versions
6. Intolerant to open source
7. Lax support for standards
8. Poor support for public API's to their systems
   
9. Dell systems suck
10. No internal innovation
11. A dark history (monopoly)
12. Many key developers are leaving Microsoft
