Changes

I have been developing Microsoft applications for a few years now. Now, I feel it's time to get a new perspective on things. So I have decided to develop *nix applications using Java, C, and C++. This couldn't be any further from what I have been doing lately. And I hope to do so using a new Apple Powerbook with Mac OS X. Once I get enough cash to fork over for the toy I will start playing. Until then, I go to stores and stare at them. I also look at web pages. It's pretty sad.
Also, I've been thinking that instead of getting a professional certification, it would be better for me to focus on getting a masters in Computer Science. Now all I have to do is find a good school near by, get admitted to the Comp. Sci. program, take all my classes, and graduate! Woo hoo! I feel like I am already there!
On a lighter note, recently I went deep sea fishing. Though, I guess it wasn't that deep. The water was only 20 feet in the deepest area. And it wasn't really the sea, since it was really in Fisher's Island Sound. But nevertheless, I did catch a beautiful 30 " striped sea bass. I also got very burned! It was one of the funnest trips I have been on this summer. Our port of departure was the beautiful Mystic, Ct. Mystic is the home of the famous movie "Mystic Pizza".
